 Keep the Capes Wild

After completion of the Great Bushwalk Scoping Study (undertaken by Planning for People, but not publicly released) in 2006, the TNPA learned in January 2007 of the Tasmanian State Government’s proposal to develop a Three Capes Track walk within the Tasman National Park.

After extensive research and discussions with the Government and other stakeholder groups, the TNPA launched the Keep the Capes Wild campaign in March 2009.

The campaign focuses on dissemination of information to the public, meetings with various levels of Government and the tourism industry, and collaborative work with the Tasmanian Conservation Trust and Environment Tasmania.
